About Blackline Barbers

An Old Town barbershop with three chairs, three barbers and no appointment book.

Our story

Blackline opened on Example Street in 2018 with one chair and a simple rule: walk in, sit down, get a proper cut.

Most of our regulars live or work within a few blocks. They come in on the way to work, on a lunch break or on a Saturday morning with their kids. We keep the wait short, the prices on the wall and the conversation easy.

Every barber here does fades, beards and scissor work, and each has a specialty. If you know who you want, ask for them by name when you walk in.

What to expect

  • Walk in

    Give your name at the front desk and grab a seat. We call you in order of arrival.

  • Talk it through

    Show a photo or describe what you want. Your barber will tell you honestly if it suits your hair.

  • Pay at the chair

    Cash or card. Prices are on the wall and on our home page, so there are no surprises.
